Home extension near Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal

Our clients came to us seeking an extension that would rejuvenate their family home, and make better use of the light and space afforded to them. We have extended the kitchen and added a snug, which together allow much more flexibility and make the house better suited to a busy family life.

As seen in the concept illustrations, the roofs above these extensions were initially designed to match the pitch of the existing roof and interrogate the established vernacular, but throughout the planning process the pitch was lowered to what we see on site today. Work is ongoing on site and progressing well – we can’t wait to see the finished project.
